Press out and build your very own glowing earth! With glow in the dark countries, you’ll be able to study your geography lessons well after lights out.
Map making has always been an important part of history, and the earliest maps date back as far as the 25th century BC. An interrupted map that is broken up into gores has segments on a curved surface to minimise distortion when placed together to make up a globe. Combining the art of Japanese paper folding with the gore pieces, this map of earth makes an interesting exploration into map making.
The Paper Globe Glow Kit features a glowing map of the earth that you build by pressing out the 19 pieces and slotting them together – no glue required. Pass a length of string through the globe and hang it from your ceiling for a great way to continue to enjoy your globe.
Recommended for ages six and over. Not suitable for children aged three and under.
