There’s nothing glamorous about a gallstone, they are hardened clumps of bile, which is a dark green to yellow brown fluid stored in the gallbladder.
Gallstones can be as tiny as a grain of sand or as large as a golf ball. While they can cause no signs or symptoms, they can also give symptoms of nausea, fever, yellowing of your skin and eyes, and pain in your abdomen, shoulders or back.
Giant Microbes are excellent teaching aids as they assist students to develop an understanding of biology while taking a fun, hands on approach.
