COVID-19 and Expected Delivery Times
Australia Post is experiencing delays with the delivery of parcels sent through their service due to the increased demand brought about by COVID-19 restrictions. Once a tracking number is assigned to your order, the estimated date of arrival displayed through the tracking information may not be accurate. Please allow an additional few days for your order to arrive. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Click and Collect
Order online and choose Click and Collect as your delivery option for FREE pick up in store at Questacon, Parkes, ACT. Please note orders are processed the next day. If you wish to collect your order before Midday the next day please contact the Questacon Shop before placing your order to ensure this is possible.
The temporary measure of our Drive Thru Click and Collect service has stopped now that the Questacon Shop continues to open more fully to the public.
Please collect your Click and Collect purchase in store at the Questacon Shop.
In Store Collection
When your order is ready for collection, you will receive an ‘Awaiting Collection’ email. This email must be received prior to attending the Questacon Shop to complete collection. You must adhere to the instructions on this email.
If you are not personally available to collect the goods purchased, please contact the Questacon Shop to appoint a representative. The Questacon Shop email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
The representative must supply a copy of the ‘Awaiting Collection’ email along with photo identification at time of collection, and you agree that Questacon Shop will rely on your representative’s instructions as if they were your own. To collect your order please refer to your email which outlines the instore collection instructions.
Click and Collect orders must be collected within seven days from the date you are notified your order is ready for collection. If your order is not collected within the timeframe, Questacon Shop may refund your purchase and allocate the goods to another customer.
If you are unable to collect your goods, you can elect to have them delivered in accordance with our delivery terms.
Peak Sale Periods
In peak trading periods, Click and Collect timeframes may be delayed due to the processing of high order volumes.
Orders within Australia
Orders are sent by Registered Post service provided by Australia Post. This does not include insurance of any kind. Orders can be sent to residential and business addresses as well as Post Offices boxes within Australia. You can track delivery of your order through the Australia Post website. Tracking numbers will be provided to the nominated email address on final processing of your order.
Special delivery items including bulky or heavy items may attract additional charges.
We do our best to process all orders within 48 hours. Please allow up to two weeks for the delivery of your order within Australia once your order has been processed. We cannot guarantee delivery dates.
The delivery fee structure is as follows:
- Orders have a shipping fee of $5.00 for online orders up to $10.00
- All orders $10.01 to $80.00 have a shipping fee of $10.00
- Orders $80.01 and over enjoy free shipping
These delivery fees apply to all online orders with the exception of Click and Collect, entry tickets and gift card purchases.
These delivery fees do not apply to deliveries to addresses outside of Australia. Last modified on 04/01/2021.
