Unlike human eyes, insects have eyes that specialize in detecting movement. Their eyesight is composed of hundreds of hexagonal units called ommatidium. The ommatidium assists insects in judging distances allowing them to capture their prey. With the three interchangeable lenses inside, you will discover how different an insect’s perspective of the world is.
