This larger microscope contains 28 pieces and allows the viewer the ability to see everyday objects in great detail and also includes material for users to undertake experiments and observe them under the microscope. The microscope has a 10x eye piece, a light source and a mirror with four colour filters, two focus knobs and three powers of magnification: 100x, 600x and 1200x. Contained in the kit are shrimp eggs and a hatchery for observations in biology. Materials are also provided for observations in plant biology with 5 prepared slides containing plants and 7 blank slides, slide covers, scalpel and colouring dyes to make your own slides.
The kit includes an instruction booklet on how to set up your microscope, with a detailed diagram on the names of the components and how to view the prepared slides. Also contained is a guide on how to prepare a slide for both temporary and permanent slides.
