The boomerang is one of the oldest heavier-than-air flying inventions in history. There is evidence that they have were used by the Egyptians as far back as 14th century BC and the Aboriginal Australians have used boomerangs in warfare and hunting for at least 10, 000 years.
When you throw your boomerang you give it angular momentum. Then because of this the top edge of the boomerang travels faster with respect to the air and gets more lift. This makes the boomerang spin on a continually changing axis causing the boomerang to follow a curved path, allowing it to come back to you if thrown correctly.
Each boomerang comes with throwing instructions so you can have heaps of fun perfecting you boomerang throwing skills!
